You can expect to be in your lesson for up to 2 hours give or take!

What does a makeup lesson entail?

It is recommended that you bring along your own makeup products so that we can become familiar with what youre already using. I will either help you learn how to make better use of the makeup you have, or suggest a few new products that you can incorporate to achieve the desired look. You will choose either a day time or evening makeup look (feel free to bring inspiration pictures) that you’d like to achieve. We will do the first half of your face ,and you will complete the other side with my guidance. During this session, we will be recording so that you may have access to a video in the future. Knowledge is power!

Do you offer onsite bridal makeup services?

Yes, we offer on site bridal makeup for bridal parties. To inquire about bridal rates and receive a policies PDF guide, please email us or Contact Us through our website form!

Can you accommodate different skin tones and types?

Absolutely! We have extensive experience working with all skin tones and types. Whether you have oily, dry, or sensitive skin, our licensed esthetician uses products specifically suited to your needs and will ensure your makeup looks and feels natural and beautiful!

What is your cancellation or refund policy?

We understand that sometimes, life gets in the way and you are unable to make it to your appointment. Per our policy, 50% of the service fee will be charged for any cancellations or no shows within a 24 hr period. If you need to cancel your appointment or reschedule, please contact us right away so that we can accommodate you!

What if I want to book a lesson for both day and evening makeup?

If you'd like to learn both looks, you can book two lessons back to back! However, we advise mastering a day look before progressing to evening looks.

Do you do bridal makeup in your studio location?

With the exception of bridal makeup trials, all bridal services we offer are traveling on-site services only.

At Jem Beauty Bar, complexion work is our specialty. Eye shadow and lashes are great but ultimately we believe it is a flawless complexion that make you glow from within and radiate confidence. There is nothing worse than a caked on face, and we love to build in thin layers to ensure that your face is never cakey, and always glowing!
